On Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., L’Idem Barcelona is organizing the exclusive masterclass Creature Design with VR<\/strong>, led by our Concept Art teacher, Rafater<\/strong>. In this masterclass, we will cover how to conceptualize a creature using virtual reality (VR) and take the model to Blender for subsequent rendering and painting in Photoshop. A networking session will follow.<\/p>\n

RAFATER’S BIOGRAPHY<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Rafater<\/a><\/span> is a Spanish Concept Artist and illustrator who has worked for companies such as Magic: The Gathering, Marvel, Games Workshop and Riot Games, among others. In addition, he combines these types of entertainment-related clients with others in the advertising field, which has allowed him to conceptualize ideas for McDonald’s, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Binance, Dell and other brands. He also devotes part of his time to teaching.<\/p>\n

Rafater is part of the teaching staff of the specialization in Concept art<\/a> of the Animation program taught by L’Idem.<\/p>\n

El jueves 23 de mayo, de 17 a 19\u202fh., L\u2019Idem Barcelona acoger\u00e1 la exclusiva Masterclass de Animaci\u00f3n Japonesa a cargo de la animadora, guionista y directora japonesa, Atsuko Ishizuka<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>

Atsuko Ishizuka se uni\u00f3 a MADHOUSE en 2004 y debut\u00f3 como directora en el video musical de \u00abTsuki no Waltz\u00bb de NHK Minna no Uta. Dirigi\u00f3 su primera serie de televisi\u00f3n en \u00abSakura-sou no Pet na Kanojo\u00bb. Desde entonces, ha dirigido de manera activa series de televisi\u00f3n como \u00abNo Game No Life\u00bb y \u00abHanayamata\u00bb. En 2018, dirigi\u00f3 la serie de televisi\u00f3n completamente original \u00abSora yori mo Tooi Basho\u00bb y recibi\u00f3 altas calificaciones tanto en Jap\u00f3n como en el extranjero.
En 2022, su primera pel\u00edcula original, \u201cGoodbye, \u00a1Don Greese!\u00bb, fue estrenada en varios festivales de cine, entre ellos recibi\u00f3 una nominaci\u00f3n en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Animaci\u00f3n de ANNECY y recibi\u00f3 varios premios.<\/p>

Atsuko Ishizuka es una de las profesoras del M\u00e1ster Internacional de Animaci\u00f3n Japonesa<\/a><\/strong> impartido por L\u2019Idem Barcelona.
