For the second consecutive year, L\u2019Idem Creative Arts School is once again participating in the 24th edition of the SGAE Nueva Autor\u00eda Awards. <\/strong>The short film, Burned Out<\/em>, made by students of the 2022-23 promotion in the specialization in 2D\/3D Animation and Video Games<\/a>, is the one chosen to be screened on Saturday, October 5 at the Prado Cinema in collaboration with the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival.<\/p>\n

SGAE NOVA AUTORIA AWARDS<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The SGAE Foundation has been promoting emerging talent and disseminating talent emerging from Catalan universities and film centers for years.<\/p>\n

Burned Out<\/em> will compete in the categories of Best Direction-Production<\/strong>, Original Screenplay<\/strong> and Original Music<\/strong>. The screening and awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 5 October<\/strong> at the Cinema Prado, within the framework of the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival.<\/p>\n

In addition, the winners in the different categories will be announced at the Ca\u00f1ateca space. This year, the jury is made up of Jaume Balaguer\u00f3<\/strong>, director and screenwriter; Aina Clotet<\/strong>, director, screenwriter and actress, and Francesc Gener<\/strong>, film and television composer.<\/p>\n

At the event, all the selected works from the new productions made by students from universities and film schools in Catalonia (fiction, animation and documentaries) will be screened.<\/p>\n

By organizing these awards, SGAE and Fundaci\u00f3n SGAE, with the complicity of the Sitges Festival, aim to discover, promote and help spread new creations in fiction, animation and documentary film.<\/p>\n
