Our Campuses
At L’Idem we are committed to an academic formula of excellence and competitiveness. You have the opportunity to study at any of our three campuses, located in Perpignan, Barcelona and Madrid, and obtain an official qualification recognised in France.
L’Idem France
Opened in 2021, the new Perpignan Campus (France) is a modern building that is part of the new Cité Digitale de Le Soler and is one of the most important cultural industrial sites in the south of France. With 4,000m2 built with ecological materials, it is equipped with the latest technologies in its classrooms and has co-working areas, a film set, a screening room and a recording studio.
Created in 2011 and used by all our students, our image and sound studios have undergone several renovations. Today, our new studios occupy more than 1,500 m2 and are designed for audiovisual productions (motion design, sound, animation, photography, film, video, VFX, studio recording, etc.). In 2010, the IDEM School of Creative Arts joined forces with other players in the P.-O. department to create Pôle Action Média, a formidable development tool designed to create synergies between audiovisual, film, television, communication and digital professionals, in order to develop the creative and digital industries.
Le Pôle Action Media brings together:
- An incubator for audiovisual projects
- 1 Business Hotel
L’Idem Animation School – Barcelona Campus
- To open the school to the international scene.
- To provide its students with a tool adapted to the challenges of our time: European openness, multiculturalism and an international methodology.
The school is located in a renovated industrial warehouse in 22@, ten minutes from the city centre and just a few metres from the sea. A 3,500m2 collaborative open space, functional and modern, equipped with cutting-edge technologies to guarantee quality training.

The school currently occupies an old industrial printing press, made up of spaces specially equipped for teaching and fostering creativity:

- Theoretical rooms fully equipped for small groups of students

As a school committed to inclusion and accessibility, all spaces at L’Idem are adapted for people with reduced mobility.
The school has 14 classrooms prepared to host courses or seminars, in person and online, with:
- Latest generation computers (PC and Mac)
- Desktop computers with dual monitors
- Interactive monitors with drawing pen (wacom cintiq)
- Digital graphics tablets and pens (wacom intuos)
- ASUS ROG laptops
- Audiovisual equipment
Currently, the software used at L’Idem are:
- Animation programs: Harmony package (Toon Boom, Storyboard Pro), Autodesk package (Maya, Mudbox, 3Ds Max), Allegorithmic package (Substance painter, Designer, etc.), Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier, After Effects, etc.), Foundri suite (Nuke, Mari), Houdini, zBrush, Unreal, Unity, Microsoft 365, renderFarm with Arnold.
- Design programs: Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier, After Effects, etc.), Cinema 4D, Microsoft 365.
Attentive to the technical innovations of the industry, the school regularly updates the software and equipment that it makes available to students.
AUTHORIZED CENTER DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
L’Idem Animation School – Campus Madrid
Located within the Casa del Lector of the Center for Contemporary Creation, Matadero Madrid, this campus will open its doors in 2025. More than 1000 m2 dedicated to teaching the different specializations of Animation and Digital Arts in the creative heart of the capital.
